Management

SAHALA, the Chairman of Bali Ener SAHALA, is responsible for the management of the Group’s business interests in Indonesia. He joined the group in 2020. He has degrees in Master of Arts (M.A), Economic Policy, Illinois University at Urbana-Champaign and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Economics. With his past career spanning numerous senior and strategic positions in several state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and ministries in Indonesia, he provides experience with senior Indonesian government officials as well as the energy industry. 

HENRY joined our group as a CEO and President of Bali Energy Limited in 2021. He graduated from Tufts University (BS) and Anderson School of Management, UCLA with Master of Business Administration (MBA). Since 2016, he has been managing a biomass venture, SynTech Japan as Representative Director. Previously he worked in Goldman Sachs as Managing Director, and in Credit Suisse First Boston as Director and started his career at Mitsui & Company. He will be in charge of overall management of BEL.

HIROICHI graduated from University of Tokyo, Japan in 1980. He joined the Group as Director in 2015. He has been serving as Representative Director in Sannou Business Dotcom Co., Ltd since 2003. Previously, he worked in Mizuho Corporate Bank Ltd as Deputy Branch Manager, and in Fuji Bank Ltd as Deputy Branch Manager. He will be providing BEL with his numerous business contacts and experiences as a banker.
